Welcome To Chatty Puffin
Based in the beautiful cathedral city of Ely in Cambridgeshire, I provide professional proofreading, copy editing and copywriting services to small businesses, start-ups, blog writers and individuals. I am also qualified in social media marketing...basically anything word-related.
If you want help writing something, then that's where I step in. If you need help checking something you have written yourself, then again, that's me. And if you aren't sure if I can help, then just ask! I am more than happy to have an informal chat about the support you need, and we can go from there.
I appreciate that creating good quality copy is a daunting prospect for many business owners, but I am here to make life easier. It is also so important to have a strong online presence, but who has time for that? Me of course!
A Bit About Me...
Hi, I am Charlotte, and I love what I do. Yes, I'm a bit of a word geek. Words are my thing, and I enjoy helping people achieve copy that doesn't just look professional but also stands out. I love a challenge!
My background is account management, property management and social media marketing. Over the past 12 years, I have worked for many companies, both corporate and start-up, broadening my skills with each new project. I have written and edited many different documents during my career, from court paperwork for lengthy property disputes to marketing material for large corporate conferences and events.
In my free time, I love to escape with a good thriller book...I am a massive Dean Koontz fan! I also enjoy time with my partner and two young children. We often spend our weekends seeking out secret hideaways in the woods before finding a pub to enjoy a carvery and a glass of chilled wine. I also survive on coffee. They are my guilty pleasures.
